Vision/Mission

Founded in 2008, the Council for Global Equality (CGE) is a Washington, D.C.-based advocacy coalition that brings together international human rights and LGBTQI+ leaders, foreign policy experts, philanthropists, and public officials to encourage a clearer and stronger American voice on human rights concerns impacting LGBTQI+ communities around the world and to support the development of LGBTQI+ civil society and populations abroad.
